Annagrace EStes, LMFT, RPT
You have a unique inherent value and deserve to experience safety, acceptance, and understanding. This belief guides Annagrace’s work with individuals and family therapy within the modality of child play therapy. She works with adults navigating relationship and attachment challenges, anxiety and nervous system regulation, identity exploration and transitions, trauma recovery, and LGBTQ+ related stressors.
You are not messed up, and there is nothing wrong with you. As humans we are built for connection, yet many of us have experienced the disappointment of unmet needs. Self-concept is in part formed through the people we are surrounded by and it’s possible you’re holding their pain along with your own. Annagrace approaches the therapeutic space with patience, compassion, and curiosity to explore harmful beliefs (“I’m different; I’m not good enough; It’s my fault”). She utilizes an integrative evidence-based approach including systems theory to understand patterns, Dilectable Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support practical skill building, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting (BSP) to support processing past experiences connected to harmful beliefs and trauma-related issues.
As a Registered Play Therapist, Annagrace approaches child therapy with an understanding of child development and presenting issues while remaining goal oriented. In the play therapy space, children will learn skills associated with labeling their emotional experience, grounding and coping, and strengthening their self concept- all in playful ways. She is passionate about supporting families through the process of a child being newly diagnosed with neurodivergence such as ADHD, Autism, along with OCD related challenges.
Being from Nashville, she has an embedded love for music with go-tos like Noah Kahan and Glass Animals. Annagrace enjoys finding new adventures with Ryman- her furry goldendoodle, spending time with her partner, and playing pickleball with friends.
Annagrace earned her master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lipscomb University with a specialization in Play Therapy. At Middle Tennessee State University, she received her B.S. in Music Business with a minor in Psychology.
If you are interested in a consult with A.G., please call her and leave a voicemail. She will return your call as soon as possible.
