A.G. EStes, LMFT (TEMP)

AG works collaboratively with children, teenagers and their caregivers, particularly through the medium of play therapy. She is currently working towards her certification as a Registered Play Therapist. As a client of AG, she desires to help you close around the gaps between where you are to where want to be. She is passionate about helping you find your inner wisdom that already resides within you. AG works with those navigating trauma, family of origin issues, life transitions, women’s issues, LGBTQ+ individuals, and entertainment industry folks.

AG utilizes techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Experiential interventions. The roots of trauma can be deeply embedded, and Brainspotting is used to access parts of the brain where those memories are stored. AG believes human connection is the greatest gift and hopes to be a safe place where you can process hardships while feeling accepted and celebrated.

As a Nashville-native she has an embedded deep love for music. Outside of the office, she can be found scouting live music, finding new adventures for her dog, Ryman, and connecting with friends and family over game nights. AG enjoys planning the next travel destination and participates in learning through experiencing.

AG earned her master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Lipscomb University with a specialization in Play Therapy and is currently pursuing licensure in Tennessee as a professional therapist. Her undergraduate degree is in Music Business from Middle Tennessee State University.
